LAYERED JACKET. A new comic concept by yours true.

Both LAYERED JACKET and OCTO POISON are comics based on dreams I had.

I will be collecting both stories into my first SELF-PUBLISHED 'zine in a while. It shall be available around March, at the Emerald City Comic Con, and then probably available online for whoever wants one.

Layered Jacket is an attempt at really fast comics-making. The other pages definitely display it's "fast ghettoness" a lot. I thumb out the pages, then draw larger versions of the thumbs on individual sheets, then go crazy with brush pen inks. It's all very fast. Much faster than the method I use for my more "serious" comics like Sharknife or Peng.

Also, this is probably not the final version of the pages. I will be adding gray ink washes, most likely.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea, though I don't know why you'd wanna do superfast comics. I like the concept I'm gonna go check out the priviews ... Octo Posion sounds too interesting to ignore.
